Is this course suitable for me?

This course is for students with existing first aid experience or for those who are new to first aid and comfortable learning in a blended delivery setting.

Participants must have the physical capacity to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor.

First Aid is about dealing with real-life situations that may involve you, colleagues, family, or friends. The training will expose you to conditions and scenarios that can be confronting. So, we ask that you come prepared to face situations that may be challenging for some.

First Aid scenarios and practice can be physically demanding on your back and knees, especially while performing CPR, so please advise staff if you have any physical restrictions. Also, please wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing on the training day.

We prefer that candidates are at least 15 years of age when attending first aid training. Please be aware that if you are under 18, a parent or guardian must sign and accept responsibility for your enrolment.

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

If you have a limitation that would affect your ability to complete the course, please call to discuss this before booking.
